This is a Free Beginning JavaScript Course / Tutorial where you can learn to make your own scripts for drop-down menus, clocks, rollovers, slide shows, scrolling messages, pop-up windows, cookies, and more. No programming experience is necessary. Familiarity with HTML is recommended.

Don't consider this to be just another tutorial. It is a lot more than that. It is a complete interactive course that will teach you how to write your own JavaScript and integrate it into your pages. This course contains a total of 14 lessons. Assignments are associated with most of them. Completing these assignments is very important to give you first hand experience with writing your own scripts.

I recommend that you plan on spending an evening or more on each lesson and feel comfortable with the material covered before going to the next lesson. You will be rewarded with a good understanding of JavaScript when you have completed lesson 14. Then you can strike out on your own to learn more.
